4. Inhale. Exhale. Come down. Take a vinyasa. This is the last vinyasa, so go slowly and mindfully and make it a good one. Jump through to seated position.
5. Asana practice is finished for today. Feel good about yourself. After your practice, in most cases, the rest of your day will be smoother and easier. Lie down and take rest.

#11 Corpse (or Rest) Posture
Savasana, or #11 Corpse (or Rest) Posture
1. Lie down.
2. Come into rest position. Feet should be hip width (or slightly more) apart and falling open to the sides. Arms at sides, palms facing up. Head centered, with chin level. This is an asana just like all the others, and should be done with awareness and attention to correct alignment.
3. Take rest. Lie still in savasana for anywhere from ten to thirty minutes. Continue to use the ujjayi breathing method, but let the sound fall away, until only you can hear it. Keep your attention focused on the breath. Deeply let go and relax. Let the mind share the stillness and relaxation enjoyed by the body.
